Sushidan opened its second Singapore counter at Parkway Parade on 5 September 2026. The 35-seat room at #01-10 is roughly half the size of the Raffles City shop, and it is the first time the Tokyo brand has planted nigiri this close to Marine Parade MRT.
AsiaOne and Burpple both clocked the same dates. Omakase starts at $19.90. A la carte nigiri starts at $1.99. Handrolls start at $3.99. Sashimi starts at $2.99. The east-only hook is a Hokkaido uni add-on that runs from 5 to 30 September, while stocks last.
$19.90 omakase, not a $80 tasting menu
Sushidan is the casual sibling of Hakkoku, chef Hiroyuki Sato's Ginza sushi-ya. Sato also ran Michelin-starred Sushi Tokami. He is not stationed in Singapore full-time. The Raffles City kitchen sits with chef Yusuke Kawana, who has nearly three decades of sushi work, including stints at Sushi Sato and Sushi Ayumu. Parkway Parade uses the same playbook: seasonal omakase, not a frozen set list.
The current Parkway menu names three set prices. The Goshoku set is $19.90. The Nanairo set is $29.90. The Jiyu omakase is $34.90 and lets you pick the sushi progression. HungryGoWhere's Raffles tasting, which used an earlier set naming scheme, still shows how the cheap seats work: chawanmushi, miso soup, a negitoro handroll, three ochoko mini rice bowls, then nigiri. The $19.90 tier carried three pieces. The $29.90 tier carried six, with chutoro, eel, and engawa in the mix on that visit.
Fish comes in from Toyosu two to three times a week. Salmon is air-flown from Norway daily. The rice is Sushidan's Red Shari, mixed with Kyoto and Tokyo akazu vinegar and Akita grain. That is the same rice story AsiaOne printed for the Parkway opening. If you have already eaten at Raffles City, the east room is not a new recipe. It is a shorter walk if you live in Katong, Siglap, or Bedok.
The uni deal is Parkway-only and it ends 30 September
Order any omakase course between 5 and 30 September and you can add 30g of Hokkaido Murasaki uni with toasted seaweed for $18.80, down from $38.80. AsiaOne notes the uni variety may rotate with the season. The deal is exclusive to Parkway Parade. Do not assume Raffles City will honour it. Stocks last is not marketing fluff on uni. When the tray is gone, it is gone.
A la carte is useful if you want extra salmon or a second handroll after the set. Nigiri runs $1.99 to $6.99. Aburi and gunkan sit in the same band. Handrolls go $3.99 to $8.99. Sashimi is $2.99 to $15.99. Stormscape's Marine Parade post also lists a $29.90 handroll set, salmon or tuna yukhoe at $3.99, and a $10.90 appetiser. Treat Instagram as a snapshot. Confirm the printed menu at the counter, because omakase neta changes.
Parkway Parade already has Sushiro in the basement and Sushi Express on the mall map. Sushidan is not kaiten. You sit, you order a set, and the rice is seasoned for Edomae-style nigiri rather than conveyor pieces. That is the reason to go if you already have a Sushiro habit in the east. The uni month is the reason to go this week rather than in October.
