Ordered the one with tempura and i wasn’t disappointed. Price is comparable with other restaurants. They have himokawa udon (flat shaped) here. Worth a try if you haven’t not eaten that before but we still prefer the normal udon.

As a udon specialty shop, it is disappointing. As a Japanese f&b shop operated by a local establishment catering to local customers, it is just ok. Having had many good servings of udon, the standard is not there. Soup base for the inaniwa …

I like the texture of the udon, both the spicy minced chicken like ban mian and soup based like you mian. I would say it’s pricey and the portion is decent only. …

First time dining at Haruyama Udon and it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the Himokawa Udon with Gyu Niku and the Tenzaru Himokawa, and both dishes were excellent. The Himokawa udon had a wonderfully smooth, chewy texture, and the gyu niku was tender and flavorful. The tenzaru was light, crispy, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. I also had the iced honey citron tea, which was refreshing and complemented the meal really well. Overall, great food quality and a very satisfying first visit. Will definitely be back again.
