I ate shredded chicken hor fun. The portion of hor fun is big but too sweet. The sauce is watery and overall looks unappetising. I don't like the food and couldn't finish it. At at $4 it's reasonably priced but I won't eat there for a 2nd time. Service is fast because there are few customers.

Eat at your own risk. Ordered the Chicken Curry Noodle and found a metal sponge scrap in my bowl of noodle. Confronted the stall owner, but she put the blame to her supplier and continued to operate the business. She did offer to remake the noodle and refund but I won’t want to dare to dine here again.

Not sure about others experience, mine was not bad. I ordered their steam chicken rice. The taste is there, the rice is warm and fragrant. The sauce for the chicken rice is just nice, not that salty like everyone said, everything good. …

Maxwell Hainanese Chicken Rice (Tampines Hub): A Classic with a Few Caveats (4/5 Stars) Rating: • Atmosphere: 3.5/5 (Typical hawker centre setting, clean and comfortable) • Food Quality: 4/5 (Delicious chicken rice with perfectly cooked and flavorful chicken and rice, but bone issues were a concern) • Service: 3/5 (Mixed bag with potential communication challenges, but overall still friendly and efficient) • Value: 4/5 (Affordable prices for a classic chicken rice meal) Overall: 4/5 Tampines Hub's hawker centre is home to a variety of delicious eats, and Maxwell Hainanese Chicken Rice is one of the most popular stalls. We were drawn to the tantalizing aroma of fragrant rice, and the sight of glistening chicken, and overall, we had a pleasant experience, though not without a few caveats. Donkey and I originally planned to have porridge, but when I spotted Maxwell Hainanese Chicken Rice, my mind was instantly changed. It just looked so tempting. Donkey, always up for trying new things, decided to try their curry chicken noodle, while I was ready for a warm bowl of Lor Mee at the other stall. I decided to pack the chicken rice home for my mum and daughter. The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, and the skin was so smooth and flavorful. The rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant, and infused with that delicious chicken broth. It's no surprise that Maxwell Hainanese Chicken Rice is so famous. However, while the chicken rice itself was enjoyable, both my daughter and my mother encountered a significant issue: both the breast and drumstick portions of the chicken had an excessive amount of bones, making it quite difficult to enjoy the meat. The service was a bit of a mixed bag as well. We understand that the staff have some hearing difficulties, and I had to shout to get their attention. Some online reviews also mentioned a less-than-ideal experience with the lady boss, who may have an unfriendly attitude. I mentioned that shouting was necessary to communicate with the staff, which they found difficult to deal with. However, I, always the optimist, understood that this was just a different style of communication from some hawker stall owners and that it didn't detract from the overall positive experience. Despite the mixed reviews, the chicken rice is a real highlight of Maxwell Hainanese Chicken Rice. The taste of the chicken and rice is what draws people in. However, it's important to be aware of the potential bone issues and service challenges. Overall, we'd say this is a good option for a quick, classic chicken rice meal, but be prepared for a potentially less-than-perfect experience. I'm giving Maxwell Hainanese Chicken Rice a 4-star rating because the chicken rice itself is delicious. However, the bone issue and service challenges are things to be aware of. The taste of the chicken and rice is a true classic done right. If you're willing to navigate the potential drawbacks, you're likely to enjoy a satisfying meal.
