If you like youtiao that is soft, the prawn paste sauce that is diluted, very little youtiao but many pineapples and cucumber, then you may like this rojak.

Ordered tau Kwa and youtiao. Both were tough and chewy, not crispy. Was provided with only chilli sauce. Asked for some sweet rojak sauce but was told off that my order didn’t come with this sauce. Avoid!

Gem hawker stall, sauce was just nice without overwhelming flavour. Better eaten on the spot than takeaway where the YouTiao will be soggy by the sauce. Aunty toast the YouTiao till its crispy with a bit of charr to increase flavour. Be prepared to wait as they process order one by one. Rojak price starts from $3.50
