Singapore turns 61 on 9 August 2026, and the dining deals started rolling in well before the fireworks rehearsals did. From Swensen's SG61 menu that launched 9 July to Guzman y Gomez bringing back the Butter Chicken filling from 21 July, there is a usable spread of National Day promos running across July and August, including several that make sense if you are eating out on the East side.
Swensen's SG61 menu (9 July to 9 September)
Swensen's is the longest-running deal in this batch. From 9 July to 9 September 2026, the chain has added local-inspired dishes at $18.61 and $10.61 price points, a nod to the year. The two mains worth ordering are the Singapore Laksa Pizza at $18.61, which is exactly what it sounds like, laksa gravy and prawns on a pizza base, and the Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at the same price. Dessert is the Muah Chee Waffle with Ice Cream at $10.61, a peanut-coated waffle that plays the muah chee angle better than most attempts to fuse ice cream and local snacks.
For families, the $61 Family Set Meal feeds three and includes a Shiok Fish Burger, two mains, three MILO Bandung drinks and the Muah Chee Waffle. Swensen's has multiple outlets including East-side locations, so the deal is accessible without travelling into town.
Guzman y Gomez Butter Chicken returns (from 21 July)
From 21 July, GYG brings back the Butter Chicken filling for burritos and bowls, a tomato-butter-Indian-spice blend with Guerrero chicken that has a cult following. It runs through 16 August. Alongside the filling, GYG is running its first National Day Advent Calendar on the GYG app from 7 to 12 August, with six days of exclusive offers including a Butter Chicken Mini Main.
Dian Xiao Er's duck keychains (28 July to 31 August)
Dian Xiao Er, which has an outlet at Parkway Parade in the East, is launching three National Day dishes designed to complement its signature Herbal Roast Duck: Succulent Prawn Glass Vermicelli, Three-Cup Abalone with King Oyster Mushrooms, and Stir-Fried Prawns with Silky Egg White. Order any of the three and you can buy a Durian DD.Duck Plush Keychain for $9.90. Order a Herbal Roasted Duck and you get a free SG61 MerDuck Keychain, the better deal if you were ordering the duck anyway.
The $61 set meals worth bookmarking
TimeOut Singapore rounded up six $61 set-meal deals for SG61, and three stand out for anyone planning a National Day weekend meal:

Highlights include banana leaf sambal stingray, bak kut teh, crispy siu yok and black truffle pork belly char siew. August-born diners eat free with every three paying adults.

The smaller but smart ones
Two more for the list: Tonkatsu ENbiton is giving a free serving of Truffle Fries with $60 spend from 13 July to 31 August, and sister brand Tamago-EN is doing a free Souffle Pancake with the same $61 spend over the same period. Both are easy add-ons if you were going to spend that anyway.
