Despite coming here to eat countless times, I discovered today that there are two fried carrot cake stalls with the same name (and even the photos and Singapore Best Foods sign). I have always been eating from the stall at #01-29 but decided to walk to the back to try the other stall. After placing the order, I started looking around and realised that this stall at #01-17 is related to the one at #01-29. Found some reviews online who said they are Father (#01-17) and Son (#01-29). I like the rendition of the dish by the Father which is more to my liking - less oily, more flavourful, and added wok hei in my view.

Decent fried carrot cake, the texture of the fried carrot cake served by this stall is a bit more wet and moist. If you prefer the crispy type then this stall is not for you and you should order from the other stalls instead. The chill is not really spicy here, so you may want to ask for more chilli.
