Asked for #3 what looked like teochew steamed fish. Hawker man with glasses said that's not teochew fish. It's ok, just gimme #3. Instead he gave me #5. Why did you give me #5 when I wanted to #3? You need to tell me what sauce you want otherwise by default, we give #5 sauce. So what does the numbers mean? It's the type of fish. You need to tell us what sauce you want. How is anyone to know that? Why didn't you ask? And he turned aggressive as if ready to right. Sigh..another rude SG hawker with a bad attitude. Puts a bad taste to any dish. Buyer beware.
Tried Tian Tian You Yu on two back-to-back visits — and it was really a tale of two experiences. ⭐ Weekday visit (Friday): First time trying, and honestly quite impressed. The food was fresh, well-cooked, and very value-for-money. Most dishes were $7.50, and everything came out hot and shiok! Only downside — quite many lala didn’t open up. Had to force them open ourselves. 😅 🤦🏻♂️ Weekend visit (Saturday): Totally different story. The whole place was chaotic with the weekend crowd — tables were dirty and uncleared, and the stall looked overwhelmed. Food quality dropped — sotong was undercooked, fish came out salty, and the vegetables weren’t washed properly. Moral of the story: Come on weekdays if you want to enjoy them at their best. Still a stall worth checking out — just avoid peak weekend hours if you can! 😬
Ordered seafood and explicitly told the staff SEVERAL TIMES not to add fish. However, fish was still added in the end. I really don’t understand why such a clear and simple instruction was ignored. Anyway the food doesn’t taste good either
My husband and I visited their latest outlet at ABC Market, right beside Soon Lee Fish Soup (from the same group of companies). As always, the big, tasty chunks of seafood were incredibly fresh — and the price is something you’ll love too! Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻Give it a try, you won’t regret it! 😍 …
Now the pieces of fish are thinly sliced, sauce are oily and taste diluted, the amount on the plate look sparsed. Not forgetting the guy taking order and serving is getting very rude also, the volume he speaks very loud, as if he is …
Buzzer system so you can't see the queue ahead. But waited 20mins on a Thursday dinner. …

Spent $27 for these dishes, enough for 3 pax and can use CDC voucher! Fish and prawns were fresh. We love all the dishes. A customer walked past us and asked for the stall too. Will recommend and eat here again.
Repeat visits; the prices are very affordable, the seafood is fresh, and the chicken is incredibly tender. Portions are generous, making it great value for money. Highly recommended! Expect a 15–20 minute wait during peak dinner hours, but it’s well worth it.
