Pretty average plate of Hokkien mee ($5). For me it’s a little too salty. The chilli did not wow me as well. But I guess it’s good for a quick lunch/ dinner. Portion wise ok for the price.

Strangely this hokkien mee has ham inside. Ham obviously has MSG, so it brings a strange taste to a hokkien prawn mee that's supposed to have prawn taste. but the noodles also dont have enough prawn flavour, very starchy. It's also salty. Didn't finish the plate.

Came at 10.30 pm and was only hokkein me store open. Wowed by the umami flavour. Suprisingly good, despite a famous hokkein mee Nam Sing in the same stretch. I think it deserve 5 stars. Wife was stealing my food
