Got the Crispy Chicken Katsu w/ Mentaiko Sauce and added on fries. Chicken katsu was actually pretty delicious - well-marinated with a crunchy skin. It paired well with the mentaiko sauce and egg, though I felt the luncheon meat could have been of higher quality. The fries was also quite meh, not as crisp as I would've liked and my partner also commented that it was not salty enough (I disagreed though). We also paid with Grab with a 15% dine out deal so it only came up to $7.99. Worth!

The Okinawa classic was so good I came back like 5 minutes later to order another salmon onigiri. The staff are all super friendly and look happy to serve us ! Thank you for making my evening!

Bought this because it is "Okinawa" food and also a new store at Tampines 1. Food: Ebi Tempura Onigiri with mentaiko sauce Cost $6.90 Verdict: Not nice. The sushi rice is tasteless. The tomago is also tasteless and not sweet. They were quite stingy with mentaiko sauce.😒 Good thing to note, at least the tamogo is considered thick. The food is still warm by the time I reached home immediately. So the food is freshly made on the spot upon order, thus, it is hot. Stall environment: grab and go. No seating area Service: Quite fast to collect food Sincerely hope that they can take in feedback for improvements and not view this negatively. Hopefully, during my 2nd visits in the future, I will write positive review for them.

I actually purchased the Ala-Carte Mentai Fries. Food was fresh, hot and tasty however the portion was rlly for kids… I’ve ordered quite a few times before and it was given in a small cup like potato corner, however the portion was getting lesser over time…. For the same amount, till tdy I’ve ordered again and they came in those small paper bags with not even half the packet filled up… which I found quite disappointing given that the price was $3.60 more exp then potato corner but the portion wasn’t even up to 1/3. Staff was ok and friendly when I asked for extra sauces, food was nice, but the portion was ridiculous ( wondering if they gave me the wrong one cuz used to be in a cup….) the cup used to be full, then 3/4… then 1/2 now not even 1/3…. the two photos I’ve posted, one was how it originally was last time and the one in the white bag was the one I purchased tdy (*ive not even eat a single piece :”)😢🥲

Definitely do not expect much. Simple yet satisfying. Feels overpriced but taste wise not bad, very homemade vibes. Will recommend to try only with grab dineout voucher.
