Ordered a black carrot cake with chilli. Nothing fanciful but the taste is great!! Generous with the garlic and black sauce, the dish is flavourful with the carrot cake not too soft, with bits of crunchy garlic (and cai po, i think). And all for $3 with decent serving size.

Fried carrot cake is so common in Food Centres in Singapore. There are quite a few stalls in this Food Centre that sell this dish. This is my favourite among the stalls here - for its simplicity and yet very authentic flavour without too much oil or seasoning. Great with a cup of rich kopi in the morning.
