Saw a long queue for this so I decided to try. The wait is quite long, not sure if it’s because the owner prioritised serving his friend first. Looks good on the outside, but tad too sweet for my liking. I prefer my minced meat noodle salty/vinegary but this missed the mark for me.
Very enjoyable bowl of bak chor mee for $4. Friendly uncle and speedy service. Delicious fishballs and fuzhou balls. Soup though was only so so.
Traditional taste of foo chow fish & meat dumpling with your mee kia or mee pok. Their minced meat ball noodle soup is quite popular too. One can choose your preferred combination of fish/meat/foo chow balls & the friendly stall owner will have it ready in a jiff. Do note the stall is open from 4.30pm onwards till ingredients run out.
Walked pass this stall and always see a constant queue. No wonder it’s only open 4 hrs in the evening. Luckily came early and not much queue, so have to try already. …
I ordered the fuzhou fishball soup and it was homemade-ly good. Soup is nice and $3 for 5 is definitely worth it. Bouncy, tender and flavourful meat filing.
