I am a regular customer of their dessert. My favourite is the three piece coloured cakes and sesame paste. You can taste the yam, pumpkin and radish in every bite. They are in cubes and not puréed into the flour. …

Consistency is there. Dessert paste not overly starchy and not too sweet. The steamed Kuehs are also pretty ok. Not the best I’ve eaten but decent. Shaved desserts are ok for the kids, just that $8 for ice and a few bits of mango is a bit much.

Mei Heong Yuen Dessert is a great spot for traditional sweets! I tried their Yam Paste and Ice Kacang both were really good. The Yam Paste was smooth, rich, and not too sweet, while the Ice Kacang was refreshingly icy with lots of toppings. Perfect for a warm day in Singapore!

Desserts are consistently good quality The only grouse is the proximity to food court. When there are no seats at food court, inconsiderate people will consume their food here. Also, some tables are shaky, causing dessert spillages!
