Usually good food but don’t come here for a quick fix unless you have a lot of spare time. The store focuses a lot on take away orders at the expense of dine in customers and doesn’t even seem to throttle their take out orders. Wait here is …

Best value for money food. Lau Wang prices are very reasonable. Like their Sesame Chicken, it's super tasty and costs less than $7 which in this day and age of shrinkflation, this is super worth it. The chicken portion is also quite a lot. …

Requested for fully cooked but it came bloody, so sent it back to kitchen but I guess the chef just poured boiling oil over it and sent it out instead of cooking it longer. The entire dish came out soaked in oil like a soup.

Visited Lawang and tried their sesame oil spicy chicken—the taste was outstanding. The flavours were rich, spicy, and very satisfying. Loved how well the sesame oil balanced the spice. A must-try dish if you enjoy bold flavours.

Food: Great and affordable meal at Lao Wang. We like it that they try to update their menu with new dishes, but we typically go back to their original dishes, which we love. …

The portion size was quite big (small option is good for sharing with 2-3 pax) and their signature sesame oil chicken was just $6.80. Food was yummy and not as oily/salty compared to other claypot places. For the sliced fish herbal soup, it came with 6 thick slices of fresh fish and lots of herbs. At $8, it's cheaper than some fish soup stores at the hawker. Also liked the chrysanthemum tea that's freshly brewed. Definitely bring your old folks here, it's very comforting!
