Every trip to lagoon food centre, I leave very happy. The beef and the broth is so good. The accompanying chili dip is special and provides a nice tang when dipping the beef slices. Good to the last slurp.

Started coming since 1979 (9 yo then), very deja vu bcos the meticulous way the slice beef was prepared, to remove the rubbery sinews. Ordered fresh beef and tendon. Broth was super! Can see the son (my age!) Preparing the same way as his dad (who sadly passed on 3 yrs ago). Thank you! Go for at least the $8 and you won't regret.

Evening dinner of Fresh beef meat plus soup and noodle - very tasty. Price is cheap. Friendly stall owner. Would like to have a meal there every week, but weekends at Lagoon Food Market are crowded with locals and foreigners.

Best beef noodles ever! Quality is always consistently good. Each bowl is meticulously cooked and dressed. Soup is not too salty, each piece of beef, brisket , tendon is cooked to perfection. Friendly prices : $6,$8,$10.

Have been eating over 30 yrs when it was the father delicately making the beef soup. The son took over quite some time ago after assisting and learning from him. The broth has clean yet yummy strong beef taste. The beef is freshly laid over before he pours over the Kway Teow - kt is very Q ie al dente.
