Date of visit: Sat 13 July 2024 Time : 8.50 pm Really crowded this hawker centre. Ordered the usual white carrot cake with chili. Taste just as good! Last visit: Usually come here for late dinner and try this carrot cake, the white version. Our recent visit post Covid was last week in mid Sep 2022. It tasted good, but just not as good as before. It was crispier and tastier then.

Prefer the white version. Good plate of carrot cake. Love the popiah although its slight sweeter than I would like.

Pretty good plate of black carrot cake, not as sweet tasting compared to other stores I’ve tried in the past. FYI store only accepts cash.

It is normal, nothing impressive. The popiah was spicy, which cover the taste of popiah. Carrot cake for the black was still consider ok, but is on the sweet side. The white carrot cake was just normal.

Here before 10am. Not crowded and a lot stalls are closed. Ordered the black and white carrot cake at $6. Both nice. Big portion.

Their popiah eating here was really tasty! The best in Singapore as for now. Really recommendable. I’m sure this has become one of my must-eat food when I drop by this food center.

The black carrot cake is not bad! Just nice, not too sweet or salty and at an affordable price. There are also 2 prawns added which is quite good for the price i paid. Hope to try the white one soon.

The black carrot cake $4 taste good. The popiah taste average, ($4.20 for two rolls) because the beansprouts was too raw for me.
