Very nice oyster omelette, but the portion is quite small for $8 SGD, with only 6 small oysters. Seems like a tourist price. The satay (mutton, chicken, and pork) is reasonably priced at $0.80 SGD each. The peanut sauce is delicious; I really enjoyed it. Overall, the food is good.
I have no idea why i trusted the reviews on google, had to opt for this as the popular store (song kee oyster) closed before 9pm i came around 8.35pm, The oyster dish is literally DRENCHED IN OIL, just look at the pic, i tot it was their …
If you like the crispy type of orluak, then you are in for a treat at this stall. For those that prefer the starchy type, this is not the stall for you. Bought the $10 plate. Oysters were big and plump. It had just the right amount of spiciness and saltiness. Only down side is that it is pricier than elsewhere.
Utterly delicious black and white mixed carrot cake (S$8), and service with a smile. Couldn't ask for anything more!
Eggs are fried till crispy. Oysters are plump and juicy.
best oh luak ive ever eaten in my life. oysters are so fresh. uncles are always nice and it is always a joy to visit ! great food to enjoy after cycling.
I didn’t get to try the oysters but had satay instead. This review is for the satay. Not a long queue compared to the Malay ones. And you do get pork satay. I would say that this is average tasting at best. But not too pricey at 0.70 a stick. Satay had picture of pineapple grating but didn’t come with that. I was a bit disappointed.
Excellent fried oyster. Plump oysters that melt in your mouth, oozy yet crispy egg and delicious chilli sauce. One of the best I've had in Singapore. Yum.
Have tried the satay a few times and decided that will post a review on them. The satay is good and nice. Key thing is it is consistent and taste good. The sauce is not bad n peanuty enough. Mate be to some it’s hit n miss. But so far it’s good and fast too when order.
