The best lamb satay ! Better than many famous one in Malaysia. I will pay $2 for the glorious mutton / lamb satay ! Chicken satay is meaty , not cut corner with chicken skin or whatever . having with pineapple sauce is perfect marriage . Still Melaka has best satay pineapple / star fruit sauce but this is good .

One of the only two satay stalls in Old Airport Road food center. Food is decent but the the pork satay is rather hard even when hot. They charge $2 for each stick of lamb satay and it’s quite normal and not really worth 2.5 times the price of a normal stick of satay. Sauce is quite nice though. They put pineapple purée in it.

The pineapple sauce is what stands out in this satay stall. The combination of the sweetness from the pineapple and the aromatic textured flavour from the peanut sauce brings out the best in the satay. You can either dip into each sauce or …

Really the best satay, having the pineapple puree in the sauce is really the best combi. Satay is grilled on the traditional charcoal, which made it really different. The stall is located at a more ulu corner, at the extreme end but is definitely worth the find!

If you have never dipped satay in pineapple infused peanut sauce, you cannot claim to have lived a full life 😏. Chye Seng Satay have been residents of Old Airport Road Food Centre (OARFC) since 1991 and are sellers of a traditional style of satay. Easily the best 🏆 satay stall at Old Airport Road Food Centre and one of the most delicious satay stalls in Singapore. Warning: your standards of Satay will be irreversibly raised after experiencing Chye Seng. I had a lovely chat with the kind and sincere owner aunty and thanked her profusely for her amazing satay. She shared with me that she innovates her recipe to differentiate and to keep up with ever rising customer expectations. She also shared that her regular customers come from afar (Jurong) and also some local celebrities frequent her stall. Freshness is a key principle of their stall and everything is made as fresh as possible, they'd rather run out then make large batches. They also keep prices competitive to serve the community. I had the chicken and pork, both splendid, with the special pineapple sauce, a traditional recipe that elevates this satay offering to new heights. More detailed posts about the stall can be found on ieatishootipost and singaporefoodie websites. Why wait. you owe your present self to try it.
