I bought 2 boxes of chocolates as Christmas gifts and I was making payment at the cashier. There was a bowl of cookies and I asked how much is each cookie. The cashier asked another lady and the lady happily told me they are samples and I can take one. I asked the cashier if she can put 1 cookie in each gift bag and took 2 cookies. The cashier started shaking her head disapprovingly like I just did something disgusting. I immediately put the cookies back in the bowl and said it’s ok, I don’t want any samples. Well the cashier could have said ‘Sorry, you can only take 1 sample’ or ‘Sure! Your gift receiver can also sample our cookies together with our yummy chocolates’ she should not be in front line with this type of attitude.
