Traditional Malay epok epok at Bedok Food Centre, known for flaky curry puffs filled with savoury goodness.
Yang Epok Epok at Bedok Food Centre keeps the traditional Malay curry puff tradition alive, hand-making flaky, golden epok epok filled with curried potato, chicken, or sardine that deliver the kind of satisfying crunch and warm, spiced filling that makes this snack one of Singapore's most-loved bites. The stall is known for its pastry that shatters into flaky layers on the first bite, giving way to a moist, fragrant filling of curried potatoes, sliced hard-boiled egg, and sometimes chicken or sardine, depending on the variety. Each epok epok is shaped and fried by hand, reflecting a craft that has been passed down through generations of Malay cooks who know that the best curry puffs come from patience and practice. The Bedok Food Centre location serves one of Singapore's busiest hawker clusters, drawing curry puff lovers who know the difference between a mass-produced version and one made with heart. For anyone who believes the curry puff is one of Singapore's most underrated snacks, Yang Epok Epok is a must-try. Bite through the crust, savour the filling, and understand why this humble snack endures.Operating Hours

This used to be my go-to spot for Epok Epok. Unfortunately, it seems they’re no longer handmade like before, the texture of the skin just isn’t the same. It’s lost that light, crispy quality that made them so good. A bit of a letdown compared to how it used to be.

The epok epok was nice and delicious. The size of epok epok rather small for a one dollar a piece, but the potatoes and sardine was full, so it was nice eat.

Epok epok is very nice, cheap at only 50 cents! I don’t usually like sardine curry puff but this one is good. Queue can get long but moves quite fast, except when their current batch run out of stock and have to wait around 30mins for next batch. Mee soto a bit pricey but is also good, Chili very spicy so I recommend don’t put too much

At their To Payoh Lor 7 stall. Heard its good so i tried. Hot and crispy, seems to be a hot favourite for many as the turnover is fast. Not too bad, small puff.
