Pick your way through plump, Hakka-style yong tau foo at this third-generation Tampines stall.
Jia Le Yong Tau Foo at Our Tampines Hub is a third-generation Hakka-style yong tau foo stall run by former banker Pamela Low, who left the finance world to continue her family's culinary legacy. The stall is known for its generously stuffed tofu pieces, eggplant, bittergourd and fried beancurd pouches, all filled with a bouncy, well-seasoned fish paste that reflects decades of refinement. Diners choose their pieces and have them served either dry with sweet sauce and chilli or in a clear, flavourful soup, with the option of dry laksa broth for a richer experience. The quality of the fish paste and the variety of items on offer have made Jia Le one of the most popular stalls at Our Tampines Hub, with queues forming during peak hours. Taste the dedication of three generations in every bite at Jia Le Yong Tau Foo.Operating Hours
