Young hawker serving authentic Peranakan cuisine at Pasir Ris, from a family recipe featured on CNA's On The Red Dot.
Nyonya Pok Pok Kay is the passion project of Sarah Sng, a Singapore Polytechnic graduate who left her corporate job during the pandemic to bring authentic, affordable Peranakan food to a hawker stall at Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre. Inspired by her father, a former hotel chef who mastered Peranakan cuisine, and her mother, a pure Peranakan, Sarah carries forward recipes that blend heritage with heart. The stall was featured on Channel NewsAsia's On The Red Dot, putting it on the map for food lovers seeking genuine Nyonya flavours. The menu showcases dishes like ayam sioh, chicken braised with coriander and tamarind, Nyonya laksa with its distinctive spice paste, and nasi lemak with side dishes of fried chicken, fish and tofu. Prices are kept affordable at under ten dollars per person, making it accessible to anyone curious about Peranakan cuisine. The stall opens for lunch and dinner with breaks in between, and closes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Visit Nyonya Pok Pok Kay at Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre for Peranakan food made with love and heritage. It is a young hawker keeping old traditions alive, one plate at a time.Operating Hours

Ordered a bulk order for a family gathering and was greatly impressed by the authenticity and quality of the food! Quantity wise it is also very generous. My favorite was the Ayam Sio, though the others were also equally enjoyable. Will order again! Thanks!
