Traditional Chinese rojak is a staple you can find in almost every food centre in Singapore, but the standard really varies. In my view, this is a good one. They use a generous amount of ingredients, and you can tell it is made and plated with tender loving care. Definitely worth a try!
Auntie took some time and effort to make the rojak. Prepare to wait around 5 minutes for a patron. Overall the peanut was quite a lot. I like the taste. Ordered a $5 for 2 person sharing and finished quite fast.
Explored the less busy part of the food centre and came across this stall selling traditional rojak. Ordered the small version $3.50 to try. Taste wise, it is quite good. Not too sweet or salty. If the youtiao was more crispier, it would have been an excellent side dish.
This stall sells a mix of rojak, BBQ tau pok, stir-fried vegetables, omelettes & seafood. It feels like they’re trying to do too many things at once, as orders can get mixed up. The grilled you tiao, tau pok & cuttlefish lacked crispiness, while the sauce was overly sweet & diluted.
The rojak is very very nice, beside the Toa Payoh Hub basement one this is another good one. The peanut sauce is thick and good. Especially with the roasted Cuttlefish. 🤤 …
