Herbal bak kut teh and claypot chicken at i12 Katong.
Klang Bak Kut Teh and Petaling Street Famous Clay Pot Chicken is a Malaysian-style eatery at i12 Katong, offering two signature dishes under one roof. The stall is known for its Klang-style herbal bak kut teh, rich with medicinal herbs and pork ribs, alongside Petaling Street-style claypot chicken rice with its caramelised crust and tender chicken. Its dual-concept menu brings the best of two Malaysian street food icons to the Katong neighbourhood. The bak kut teh features a dark, herbal broth brewed with a complex blend of Chinese herbs, served with pork ribs, mushrooms, and fried dough fritters. The claypot chicken rice is cooked to order, with the rice absorbing the juices of chicken, Chinese sausage, and salted fish, developing a coveted crispy bottom layer. Both dishes are available in individual and sharing portions, making the stall suitable for solo diners and groups alike. Find Klang Bak Kut Teh at 112 E Coast Rd, B1-08, i12 Katong, Singapore 428802. Order both signature dishes for a Malaysian feast that captures the essence of Klang and Petaling Street. It is a must-visit for Malaysian hawker food fans in the east.Based on 4 Google reviews

Quite disappointed with this as the name implies but it does bad justice to Malaysian BKT. Meat is dark and frozen , soup tasteless and rice was too hard..

The Malaysian Bak Kut Teh here is quite legit. Although the soup base is a bit sweet, but it's tasty and piping hot. The meat is also very tender. There's only one size available.

Klang Bak Kut Teh serves Bak Kut Teh with herbal based soup at $7. Soup is sweet, meat and rice is ok. …
