Freshly steamed chee cheong fun at Old Airport Road, known for silky rice rolls with sweet sauce.
Freshly Made Chee Cheong Fun at Old Airport Road Food Centre lives up to its name by steaming rice noodle rolls to order, delivering the silkiest, most delicate chee cheong fun that melts on the tongue with each bite. The stall is known for its freshly steamed rolls rather than pre-made ones, ensuring the signature soft, slippery texture that distinguishes great chee cheong fun from the ordinary. Each portion is drizzled with a sweet sauce, sesame oil, and chilli sauce combination that balances sweetness, nuttiness, and gentle heat, while toppings like char siew, prawns, or mushrooms add substance to the ethereal rice rolls. The Old Airport Road Food Centre location places this stall among Singapore's most competitive hawker names, and its queues reflect the reputation it has built among those who know their chee cheong fun. For anyone who believes the simplest dishes are often the hardest to perfect, Freshly Made Chee Cheong Fun proves the point beautifully. Watch the steaming process, order a plate, and taste the difference that freshness makes.Operating Hours

Came last Sunday morning and was a keen stall to try after hearing about it from YouTube and boy it didn't disappoint. …

Skin is very thin and I like it that they are freshly made. Ordered the charsiew and prawn at $5. This chee cheong fun is the Hong Kong style, not the usual local ones. So it is definitely pricier but value for money to me since no need for …

Their Chee Chong Fun are handmade upon order, to ensure the maximum freshness and quality. The thickness was just right, the texture was soft and springy. The soy sauce was slightly sweet, not salty and the chilli was an amazing match was well. Make a trip down here and try it yourself.

I find it hard to find this stall because the signboard is focusing on lots of newpaper articles and porridge. For the chee cheong fun, there are only two pictures. It serves other tuype of fried dumplings and ngoh hiang too. Tried the charsiew and prawn chee cheong fun. Both freshly made after ordering. Minimum order is 2 pieces. The chee cheong fun is soft and silky. The sauce is sweet and has flavour. The chili is so so. Portion wise I think it is a bit small for $2.5 per piece. So overall 4 stars.

Freshly made but that also gave them a reason to be rude and rowdy. ☹️ The taste is average, but the skin is smooth. …
