I tried their bee hoon goreng basah and nasi goreng merah with fries. The best part of this place is that the food is served piping hot, which I really appreciate – nothing worse than lukewarm fried rice. The portions are decent and the cooking is consistent. However, in terms of taste, it’s quite normal and nothing really stands out. The bee hoon goreng basah was okay but lacked that strong wok hei or distinctive flavour that makes you want to come back. The nasi goreng merah was average as well – filling, but not memorable. The fries were a bit disappointing. They weren’t the kind that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; instead they were rather limp and ordinary. Overall, it’s a reliable spot if you just want hot, filling food, but not a place I’d go out of my way for. With better seasoning and improved fries quality, this could easily be a stronger option.
