Wok-fried Hokkien mee at East Coast Lagoon, serving the iconic prawn-and-pork noodle dish.
Ah Yu Fried Prawn Noodle Hokkien Mee at East Coast Lagoon Food Village serves one of Singapore's most iconic hawker dishes, wok-frying thick and thin noodles in a rich prawn and pork broth until each strand is infused with smoky, savoury flavour. The stall is known for its version of Hokkien mee that balances the bouncy texture of yellow noodles with the softness of bee hoon, all coated in a fragrant stock that captures the sweetness of prawns and the depth of pork. Each plate arrives with generous portions of prawns, sliced pork, and egg, finished with a sprinkle of crispy pork lard that adds an irresistible crunch and aroma. The East Coast Lagoon location places this stall in one of Singapore's most scenic hawker settings, where sea breezes complement the wok hei that rises from each freshly fried plate. For anyone who believes Hokkien mee is the true test of a hawker's skill, Ah Yu is a worthy contender. Order a plate, squeeze the lime, and taste the wok fire in every bite.Operating Hours

Wow this must be one of the best hokkien mee I've had. Wetness was just right. Flavour was thick with a bit of work hei. chilli is Belachan type that brings out the flavour of the mee. Prawns were firm and fresh. I guess I'm just lucky to chance upon this stall out of the so many hokkien mee stalls there. Service was great 👍. …

One of the best Hokkien Mee I’ve eaten in awhile. Ingredients are fresh, gravy is not too sweet and noodles are cooked to perfection. Had to go back for 2nd serving. Highly recommended!

Probably the best Hokkien Mee I’ve ever had! The portion was generous, and every bite was packed with flavour. The chilli complemented it perfectly, just the right balance of spice and taste. Definitely a place I’d go back to again!
